About Zanbato
We are a multi-billion dollar private investment firm managing long-term capital dedicated to supporting the world’s most consequential technology companies. Our funds are structured to provide patient, founder-aligned capital to companies building the infrastructure of the future – across AI, aerospace, defense, energy, fintech, crypto, data & analytics, infrastructure, and other frontier technologies.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a disciplined, detail-oriented Operations & Data Associate (Intern) to join one of the fastest-growing fund managers at the unique intersection of Finance, Operations, and Product. You’ll be working directly with our business and product teams as we undergo a major data migration and system integration. While the tasks are primarily manual, they are foundational to our business operations. We are looking for a disciplined, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in accuracy and wants to gain experience in a high-growth investment environment.

Responsilities
Your primary goal is to ensure the integrity of our fund documentation. You will be responsible for migrating high-stakes data from Dropbox into our execution systems. This is a foundational role—the data you organize will be the backbone of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Migration: Drag, drop, organize, and accurately label fund documents.
  • Data Entry: Manually input specific contacts and purchase details for processed documents.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a high "attention to detail" standard while handling PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and sensitive bank data.
  • Process Optimization: Use AI tools where applicable to increase your efficiency.
  • Daily Reporting: Document progress, flag exceptions, and sync with the team for feedback.
  • Secondary Projects: Once migration is complete, assist with data de-duplication and other operational cleanup tasks.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented Learner: Willingness to learn basic fund accounting and transaction processes. While we provide training for the role, an aptitude for financial logic is necessary
  • High Tolerance for Manual Tasks: You find satisfaction in organization and "clearing the queue."
  • Reliability: Ability to work onsite (ideally Mon/Wed/Thu) to align with our team and security protocols.
  • Trustworthiness: Must be willing to undergo a background check and fingerprinting due to the sensitive nature of the data.
  • Immediate Availability: We are looking to fill this role ASAP.

Why Join Us?

  • Direct Exposure: Sit directly with the investment team and learn how a modern venture fund operates.
  • Career Path: While the initial contract is 3–6 months, there is a possibility of full-time conversion for high-performers who add significant value beyond the initial scope.
  • Modern Workflow: We encourage the use of AI and are open to building small tools to help you succeed.

Compensation, Benefits, And Perks

  • $20-$25/hr
  • Part Time (approx. 20 hours/week) | 3-6 Month Term
  • Catered lunch daily
  • Snack and beverages in-office
