About the role and team

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Creative Strategist to help build the foundation of our Creative Studio team within Uber Advertising.

Working alongside our Sales and Account Management teams, you will play a key role in driving sustainable revenue growth. As a captivating storyteller and strategic thinker, you will conceptualise unique, insights-backed ways for top brands to engage with Uber audiences, serving as an indispensable strategic thought partner both internally and for our major advertising partners.

What you’ll do

  • Champion creativity across Uber Advertising by inspiring partners with tangible examples of how brands can connect with our audience.
  • Design and deliver creative solutions across the Uber Ads network and beyond.
  • Create strategic, big-picture partnership opportunities to present to key accounts and agency partners.
  • Lead with data-driven insights to highlight actionable opportunities within our client proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proactive packages tailored to seasons, tentpole events, industry verticals, and specific audiences.
  • Present concepts to clients and internal teams with poise, delivering strategic solutions that solve business challenges.
  • Manage custom asset builds end to end with internal and third-party partners, taking concepts from initial pitch through execution.
  • Build case studies and best practice guides to champion advertiser success across the Uber platform.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in creative strategy, ideally within a tech platform or publisher environment.
  • Proven track record of responding to complex briefs and RFPs at scale, bringing high-impact creative ideas to life across diverse media channels.
  • Advanced understanding of campaign execution and audience behavior, with a focus on how campaigns physically come to life.
  • Strong ability to interpret data and audience insights, translating complex information into sound strategies and compelling stories.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the poise and confidence to present comfortably to cross-functional teams, leadership, external partners, and large groups.
  • Effective project and stakeholder management capabilities, skilled at driving outcomes and navigating relationships across teams.
  • Hands-on experience operating in ambiguous settings, working autonomously and building strong foundations or processes from the ground up.
  • Autonomous, self-starter mindset, with the ability to solve problems on the fly, and find answers independently.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit paired with a deep passion for the intersection of creativity, technology, and advertising.
