Account Executive - Enterprise (New Business & Growth)
Location: Ciudad de México, México
Function: Sales & Business Development
About the Role
Sales at Uber for Business means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a script. It’s not about pushing a product — it’s about building long-term partnerships in a fast-changing environment.
As an Account Executive in Ciudad de México, you will sit at the intersection of strategic acquisition and portfolio growth for our highest-value AAA accounts. You will manage complex, long-term sales cycles and lead large-scale integration projects that require deep cross-functional collaboration across operations, product, and legal.
This role requires an unyielding work ethic, strong professional integrity, and the resilience to navigate tough negotiations and shifting market dynamics. If you’re energized by the messy reality of doing big things at scale, this is where you’ll grow.
What You’ll Do
- Build and grow long-term partnerships: Manage Mid Market / Enterprise sales lifecycles across both net-new AAA business acquisition and strategic expansion of existing high-value accounts.
- Lead large-scale complex projects: Oversee multifaceted deal structuring, integration rollouts, and cross-functional execution involving multiple high-level Mid Market / Enterprise stakeholders.
- Navigate commercial ambiguity: Adapt sales strategies to complex local market dynamics, long decision-making timelines, and changing client requirements.
- Negotiate high-impact terms: Secure mutual economic value through creative deal structuring, effectively overcoming pricing pushbacks and client objections.
- Manage pipelines with urgency and discipline: Leverage CRM tools (Salesforce) to maintain strict data hygiene, track account health indicators, and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with operations, product, marketing, and legal teams to shape customer proposals, resolve operational blockers, and scale solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Mid market / Enterprise, Account Management, or Business Development managing complex commercial sales cycles.
- Proven track record of acquiring and growing Mid Market / Enterprise AAA accounts and executing large-scale, complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience navigating long sales cycles while balancing both new business ("hunter") and portfolio growth ("farmer") strategies.
- Strong professional work ethics, integrity, and personal accountability.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Saas experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of the LATAM commercial ecosystem and Mid Market / Enterprise verticals in Mexico.
- Experience in technology platforms, marketplace logistics, or high-growth environments.
- Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) or enterprise CRM software.
- Strong data-driven commercial storytelling capabilities to influence senior decision-makers.
