What You’ll Do
- Own and manage accounting master data across the finance ecosystem, including Chart of Accounts segments, associated metadata and other key financial dimensions and hierarchies.
- Serve as the functional authority for Oracle EDM, overseeing metadata governance, hierarchy maintenance, business rules, validations, workflows, and downstream synchronization.
- Manage day-to-day master data operations, ensuring changes are accurately reviewed, approved, implemented, and reconciled across financial systems.
- Establish and maintain master data governance, controls, and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and appropriate change management.
- Play a key role in the Oracle Fusion implementation, leading master data design, mapping, cleansing, validation, testing, and migration activities to support a successful transition.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and Systems teams on M&A acquisitions, reorganizations, new entities, system integrations, and other business changes to ensure master data is appropriately designed and maintained.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Minimum of 2 years working in consolidations, master data governance or as an international accountant
- Experience with Oracle Cloud suite of products (EDMCS, FCCS, EPBCS)
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate key information and status to stakeholders
- Possess excellent analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in system implementation or upgrades
- Individual should work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Big 4 experience, consulting or audit experience with multinational engagements
- CPA certification (or working towards it)
