About the Role

As a Financial Controller at Dantaxi, you will be part of the Finance department and play an important role in ensuring high quality, transparency, and credibility in our financial reporting. You will act as the primary financial contact for Uber, as well as for external advisors and auditors, and work closely with the Finance Manager and CFO.

The role does not include direct responsibility for the monthly closing process, but you will actively contribute to reconciliations, quality assurance, analyses, and explanations, serving as a key sparring partner within the Finance team.

What You'll Do

• Ongoing financial reporting to Uber in accordance with agreed requirements and deadlines
• Primary contact for Uber’s finance teams

• Responding to and handling inquiries regarding:

  • Accounting and financial reporting
  • Explanation of variances
  • Revenue, costs, and payroll
  • VAT, tax, and compliance
  • Transfer pricing matters

• Coordinating data, analyses, and responses internally within Finance and with relevant stakeholders

• Primary contact for Danish external advisors and external auditors
• Coordinating local transfer pricing documentation
• Contributing to controlling, financial analyses, and management reporting
• Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Supporting improvements and standardization of financial processes

What You'll Need

• Have a relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Have solid experience in controlling, accounting, and financial reporting
• Are comfortable communicating with external stakeholders and can do so clearly and professionally—in English as well
• Have a strong understanding of the link between accounting, operations, and business
• Possess strong Excel skills and experience working with large and complex financial datasets
• Work in a structured, analytical, and independent manner
• Thrive in a role with both professional responsibility and many touchpoints
