About the Role

Uber Eats is looking for a Product Manager to lead Consumer Fulfillment Quality, a critical area focused on making every order more reliable, predictable, and trustworthy for eaters.. Delivery quality is core to how consumers experience Uber Eats: whether an order can be completed, completed on time, and completed without defects. This role will focus on preventing poor order experiences before they happen, using product signals and interventions to help eaters avoid issues like late deliveries, incorrect or missing items, difficult handoffs, and orders that are unlikely to go smoothly. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with strong consumer product instincts who can partner across teams to define and deliver a product strategy that makes every order feel more reliable, predictable, and trustworthy for eaters.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for preventing eater-facing fulfillment defects before they happen.
  • Identify the highest-leverage defect sources across merchant readiness, courier behavior, batching, distance, supply conditions, drop-off quality, and user input errors.
  • Own the consumer experience for prevention moments across discovery, feed, store pages, checkout, order tracking, delivery instructions, post-order editing, and defect-risk communication.
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering to develop prediction, detection, and intervention systems for high-risk orders.
  • Design experiments that reduce preventable defects while managing tradeoffs across conversion, reliability, merchant fairness, courier efficiency, and eater trust.
  • Translate defect insights into actionable product requirements, launch plans, and executive narratives.
  • Establish operating cadences to review defect performance, diagnose root causes, and prioritize prevention opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer technology, marketplace, logistics, fulfillment, or operationally complex products.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience defining product strategy and driving execution across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort with metric design, experimentation, funnel analysis, and root-cause diagnosis.
  • Proven ability to turn ambiguous, multi-sided problems into clear product priorities and roadmaps.
  • Experience working with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and align teams around a strategy.
  • Track record of shipping products or systems that improved customer experience, reliability, quality, or operational performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on marketplace quality, logistics, delivery, routing, dispatch, ETA, ranking, trust, support, or fulfillment systems.
  • Experience with prediction or risk-scoring systems that trigger product interventions.
  • Familiarity with consumer defect reduction, customer support reduction, NPS improvement, retention, or trust-building initiatives.
  • Experience managing tradeoffs between growth, quality, cost, fairness, and user experience.
  • Strong systems-thinking orientation, with the ability to reason across consumer, merchant, courier, and marketplace incentives.
  • Experience building products that use real-time signals, operational data, or machine-learning models to improve user outcomes.
  • Comfort operating in highly ambiguous spaces where ownership is distributed and success requires strong cross-functional leadership.
  • Prior experience in food delivery, grocery, e-commerce, mobility, logistics, or local commerce.
