Duties: Develop and optimize algorithms and systems that match supply (drivers) with demand (riders) in real-time. Work on complex problems, leveraging data and building systems/platform/algorithms to ensure efficient and reliable marketplace matching. Support matching in a hybrid marketplace including various supply classes such Autonomous Vehicles (AV), fleet, taxis, uber IOs, etc. Focus on both foundational projects as well as vertical support for core AV matching, hailables/taxis reliability, fleets matching, etc. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

Position requires:

  1. Developing and deploying systems in production environments;
  2. Building and iterating on code review (Phabricator or GitHub);
  3. Automation test infrastructure (unit, integration, or E2E);
  4. Build systems (Bazel or Buck);
  5. Backend development;
  6. Distributed systems;
  7. C++, Python, Java, GIT, or SVN;
  8. SQL or MySQL;
  9. Data structures and algorithms development and functionality.
