About the Role

The EMEA Mobility Central Operations team, in close partnership with Regional teams, shapes the vision, strategy, and execution of Uber’s Mobility operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Operations is at the heart of our business, ensuring seamless experiences for our riders and driver partners while driving the growth of Uber’s platform. Central Operations consists of five verticals Rider Operations, Driver Operations, Marketplace, Business Operations and Small Cities / Expansion.

The Marketplace team sits at the crux of Uber’s two-side marketplace, with our riders on the one side and our driver-partners on the other. Through optimal pricing decisions, the efficient and targeted use of rider promotions and driver incentives, and leveraging Uber’s powerful pricing and matching technology, we ensure that our marketplace continues to operate smoothly and is well set up for long-term growth.

We are looking for a new Senior Operations Manager focused on Portfolio Marketplace. This role will play a pivotal part in driving growth through elevating our marketplace strategy and management for our non-UberX product portfolio, covering both Premium as well as Low Cost products. This is done in close collaboration with the Rider Operations team.
  2. Proactive Pricing Strategies for Non-UberX products: Analyze pricing and marketplace data to identify and recommend pricing opportunities that drive business growth, while balancing the rider and driver experience. Build tooling that will efficiently generate these insights at scale.
  3. Collaborate with Local Operations Teams: Work closely with regional teams to understand market dynamics, implement configurations, and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  4. Experiment and Innovate: Design, run and analyze experiments to explore new approaches and drive innovation in our Marketplace operations.
  5. Collaborate on Product Innovation: Partner with HQ Product teams to shape and design new tools or products tailored to local market needs.
  6. Represent EMEA Markets: Act as the voice of EMEA to HQ Product and Engineering teams to align priorities and ensure the region’s needs are met. Share and identify best practices across other megaregions (eg. US&C, LatAm, etc)
