About the Role
We are looking for a Client Partner, Strategic Verticals (Non-Endemic brands) to join the new Uber Advertising team on the ground in India. In this role, you will own senior relationships with some of Uber’s most important strategic advertisers, acting as a trusted commercial and marketing advisor. You will develop and execute long-term partnership strategies, lead complex sales engagements, and drive the adoption of Uber’s expanding advertising solutions.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Execute advertising partnership strategies that deliver on partner marketing objectives and exceed quarterly growth goals. Build and maintain relationships with the Director, VP, and C-level marketing executives and key decision-makers within partner media agency organizations.
- Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex relationships and challenging conversations. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure partner needs are met.
- Expand ad product adoption across Mobility offering. Communicate the value of new advertising products creatively and effectively to differentiate our offerings.
- Develop scalable pitch narratives to drive growth for partners and the Ads team.
- Contribute to building the Ads business by taking on diverse responsibilities and supporting teammates as needed. Act as the voice of the customer to inform future Ads product roadmaps.
What the Candidate Will Need
- Minimum 5+ years of full-time sales experience managing end-to-end enterprise or large customer relationships in digital advertising.
- Proven success in selling advertising solutions to large, complex enterprise brands and organizations. Strong existing network across India’s media agency landscape.
- Experience driving new business development and managing net new partnerships.
- A track record of exceptional sales attainment and delivering commercial revenue in hyper-growth environments . Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and execute strategic sales plans that deliver mutual success for partners and Uber. Strong storytelling abilities and data-driven communication skills to influence decision-makers. Exceptional listening, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience using AI or automation tools to drive efficiency. A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- Creative problem-solving skills and comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with ownership, speed, and resourcefulness.
