This role is for the Bliss Front End and Security charter within Uber's customer obsessions team.

This team is responsible for building tooling and frameworks to enable support for multiple businesses within the Uber ecosystem and ensuring security across tools used by Agents.

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

  1. Design/architect, develop and/or test software applications using Uber's technology stack
  2. Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex development/projects and provide recommendations to resolve complex technical issues;
  3. You'll be very close to business concerns, working alongside Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists and the Operations team, to understand what's most important, and translating that to systems, designs, and code that best solve for today, as well as plans for tomorrow
  4. You will build user-facing products - the work you do will impact all business lines in the Uber ecosystem. You will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality products with fast iterations.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  1. Minimum 6 years full-time Front End engineering work experience
  2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field;
  3. Proficiency in Javascript, React or VueJS, HTML, CSS, and web APIs.
  4. Understanding of modern web application architecture and frameworks.
  5. Algorithm & Data Structures fundamentals, including hash tables, trees, stacks, queues, linked list, DFS, BFS

  1. Excellent technical communication and team collaboration skills
  2. Strong understanding of client-side performance optimisation and modern browser capabilities
  3. A strong customer focus
  4. Has worked in teams that work across partner teams in other geographies
