About the Role

As a University Recruiter at Uber, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Emerging Talent Acquisition team and gaining hands-on experience across the full recruitment lifecycle. This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn about Uber’s business and the strategies we use to attract top early-career talent.

You will help drive and coordinate a variety of initiatives within the University TA team — including recruitment for our intern and grad programs, participation in internal and external events representing Uber, and active involvement in the experience of our interns and grads. Throughout, you’ll ensure a world-class candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for Uber on campus and beyond.

In this role, you’ll also develop expertise in university recruitment data and strategy — analysing results, identifying opportunities, and presenting insights and recommendations to drive our broader Talent Acquisition efforts. Collaboration is key: you’ll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and the wider University TA team to deliver an outstanding and seamless recruitment process.

What You'll Do

  1. Support and execute the intern and grad recruiting strategy across multiple organisations
  2. Partner cross-functionally with hiring teams, the broader Talent Acquisition organisation, and the People team to develop scalable, tailored recruiting processes that prioritise an exceptional candidate experience.
  3. Build and strengthen relationships between academic institutions and industry teams within Uber to support long-term talent engagement.
  4. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for candidates, including both internship and full-time opportunities.
  5. Represent Uber at student hiring events, webinars, and conferences, acting as a brand ambassador and promoting our early careers programs.
  6. Develop and refine sourcing strategies for events and conferences, ensuring clear communication and consistent execution across teams.
  7. Provide data-driven insights and regular reporting to hiring teams and key stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

  1. 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the Early Careers space.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  4. Data-driven mindset – able to provide insights and expertise to hiring managers, and support decision-making through data analysis and reporting.
  5. Collaborative team player – priorities both the team’s success and the candidate experience.
  6. Exceptional organisational skills, with proven ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Flexible, resourceful, and adaptable to change – thrives in dynamic environments and embraces new challenges.
  2. Self-driven and accountable – demonstrates strong organizational skills, integrity, and consistent follow-through on tasks.
  3. Naturally curious and innovative – constantly seeks opportunities to improve processes and enhance outcomes through creative thinking.
  4. Passionate about candidate experience – empathetic, articulate, and professional in all interactions; understands the importance of creating a positive and respectful journey for every candidate.
  5. Engaging and personable – a charismatic team player who communicates confidently and enjoys building meaningful relationships across all levels.
  6. Highly motivated – takes pride in achieving excellence and maintaining a high standard of quality, even under pressure.
  7. Versatile and proactive – a true team player who steps in wherever needed, staying organised and dependable in all situations.
