About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Sourcer to support multiple business lines and scale Engineering hiring across LATAM. You will partner with recruiting and hiring managers within your talent segment to build teams across our dynamic organization. You will use data and predictive analytics to identify, nurture, engage, and activate top talent for repeatable, hard-to-fill roles. You will adopt current uses of AI and create your own to drive quality and speed.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Solve messy, high-impact sourcing problems in the competitive Brazilian market, identifying technical talent for Engineering roles.
  • Proactively engage and convert passive talent by deeply understanding their motivations and pitching the unique scale and impact of Uber’s technical challenges.
  • Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities by partnering closely with hiring managers to refine target profiles and inform hiring strategies based on real-time market data.
  • Build and scale diverse pipelines using a variety of channels (LinkedIn, Sourcing Sessions, Events, Social Media) to ensure we are cultivating a workforce with different perspectives and lived experiences.
  • Pull and present key hiring metrics (conversions, time-to-hire, total addressable market) to influence business stakeholders and unblock bottlenecks in the hiring funnel.
  • Ensure a phenomenal candidate experience by managing expectations with transparency and acting as a brand ambassador for Uber Engineering.
  • Own your work end-to-end, from the initial research and first outreach to the hand-off, ensuring every candidate is evaluated against our high bar for excellence.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience sourcing for technology positions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in diversity-focused sourcing and a track record of building inclusive talent pipelines.
  • Proficiency in using data to track funnel health and guide hiring decisions with stakeholders.
  • Experience with sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM/ATS systems like iCims).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior technical leaders through data and market insights.
  • Adaptability and resilience in navigating high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and advanced proficiency in English
