Rider Operations, in collaboration with regional teams, leads our vision, strategy and execution for our Rider-facing operations across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Operations is all about running our business on the ground and helping riders and drivers get the most out of Uber’s platform. The team is responsible for driving the growth and engagement of our rider base, and a broad mandate of customer offerings, with the overall objective of ensuring Uber is the most dependable and delightful way to get you wherever you need to be.
About the Role
Our business priorities include strengthening the consumer value proposition and increasing lifetime value. Strategic partnerships support this goal by driving acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty, while differentiating Uber in the market.
This role will focus on developing, scaling, and optimizing partnerships across EMEA markets. You will be responsible for managing and improving existing partnerships, operationalizing new partnerships in close collaboration with Business Development, and ensuring successful go-to-market execution across markets. The role will also play a key part in defining and aligning the EMEA partnerships strategy with global priorities, ensuring consistency, scalability, and measurable impact.
You will work closely with the Business Development team, local market teams, CRM, Engineering, and Strategic Finance to deliver seamless partner integrations and high-quality consumer experiences. Externally, you will collaborate directly with partners to drive performance, unlock new opportunities, and ensure long-term strategic alignment.
This requires a strong foundation of executional excellence and planning and organisation skills; and a combination of creative problem-solving, business acumen, and stakeholder management.
What you’ll do
- Develop an overarching partnership strategy for EMEA in alignment with global teams to achieve high-level business targets
- Engage in discussions with external partners, and lead cross-functional teams including business development, local ops and other stakeholders to implement and launch new partnerships across EMEA

Run the operations for existing partnerships (e.g. Revolut, Flying Blue) by working cross-functionally on:
- Developing a roadmap and launching campaigns to drive acquisition and engagement
- Tracking performance and building recommendations to optimise partnerships
- Manage forecasting and budgeting of deal in partnership with finance
What you’ll need
- 5+ years of experience in a high pace, data driven organisation (e.g. Tech start-up/scale-up)
- Strong undergraduate or master degree
- Strong executional ability, communication and stakeholder management
- Comfortable project managing the rollout of large cross-functional initiatives
- Creative problem solver, with an anything is possible attitude
- Data-driven judgement and decision mentality through excellent analytical thinking
- Comfortable dealing with uncertainty; recommending strategy where no standards exist today and driving execution plan
- This role will be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands
