What You’ll Do

  • Own the End-to-End Cycle: Lead the full recruitment process for complex roles, from initial intake to high-stakes offer negotiations, ensuring a "candidate-first" mindset throughout.
  • Act as a Strategic Advisor: Partner with hiring managers to move beyond "filling a req." You will coach them on raising the talent bar and aligning their teams to what top talent looks like.
  • Navigate Ambiguity: Source and engage top-tier talent in a competitive market, often shifting priorities mid-stream to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Drive the Narrative: Actively promote Uber’s EVP and culture, helping candidates understand the real nature of the work—both the exciting impact and the challenging pace.
  • Unblock the Process: Identify bottlenecks in the hiring funnel and work cross-functionally with operations, compensation, and leadership to resolve them with urgency.
  • Champion Quality of Hire: Focus on trait-based hiring (ownership, resilience, empathy) rather than just checking technical boxes to ensure long-term team success.
  • Lead by Example: Role model the mindset of a world-class TA professional by providing upward feedback and celebrating wins that reflect our culture shift.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth tech environment or fast-paced agency.
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing passive candidates for niche or high-complexity roles.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and data-driven recruiting tools.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Systems Thinking: Ability to see the bigger picture and understand how one hire impacts the broader organization.
  • Resilience: A proven ability to stay steady under pressure and navigate tough stakeholder conversations or candidate "no's."
  • Influence: Experience influencing without authority and coaching senior leaders on hiring best practices.
  • Local Insight: Familiarity with the Aarhus/Nordic talent market and local employment nuances.
