About the Role

We're Vehicles Platform team, building tier-1 platform for Uber Vehicles. As a backend Software Engineer, you will design and develop new platform capabilities using cutting edge latest technologies. You will work with cross functional as well as external teams to drive these features till production delivery.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

1. Build and maintain backend micro-services that support user-facing products
2. Work with Product, Design, Data Science, and other Engineers to generate and execute on product ideas
3. Comes up with thought process to extend Vehicle products and executes with cross organisations

---- Basic Qualifications ----

1. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
2. Strong programming skills with e.g. Java, Python, Go, C++, C#
3. 2+ years of software development experience

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

1. Experience with distributed systems and services
2. Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams
3. Strong communicator and collaborator
