About the Role
The Onboarding Center of Excellence (CoE) as part of the Delivery Commercial Operations (DCO) team is looking for a Strategy & Planning Analyst to drive data-based decision-making and strategic direction for global merchant onboarding performance. This role is responsible for providing deep analytical support for program planning and translating complex data into actionable strategies that influence regional and global initiatives.
Sitting at the intersection of the global strategy, data, and commercial execution, the Analyst will partner closely with DCO analytics teams, Regional Operations, Commercial Teams, and cross-functional stakeholders (including Engineering, Product, Finance, and Compliance) to guide prioritization and identify opportunities for improvement within the global onboarding process. The successful candidate will leverage strong analytical capabilities, data fluency, and a strategic mindset to design scalable reporting, deliver executive-level insights, and ensure execution aligns with the CoE's strategic goals.
What You'll Do:
1. Global SOT Development & Infrastructure
- Data Platform Partnership: Serve as the technical and business lead for the CoE, working closely with data platform and engineering teams to design, develop, and maintain the Global Onboarding Data Single Source of Truth (SOT).
- Metric Governance: Establish, standardize, and formalize global onboarding metrics (including time in funnel, conversion rates, etc.) and definitions, to ensure consistent data quality and delivery.
- Reporting Suite: Design and execute a tiered dashboarding strategy (e.g., Tableau) tailored for different audiences (Executive, Regional Ops, Commercial Teams) to provide clear, consistent, and actionable performance visibility globally.
2. Impact Measurement & Project Analytics
- Analytical Frameworks: Embed rigorous analytical frameworks into all CoE initiatives by defining OKRs, KPIs, baselines and targets upfront for every project.
- Experimentation: Design and execute robust measurement methodologies (e.g., A/B tests, pre-post analysis) to accurately assess the execution, true operational impact, and operational/financial ROI of process, policy, and system changes driven by the CoE.
3. Strategic Insights Cadence
- Strategic Reporting: Own the regular production of high-quality analytical reports that review global metrics, emerging trends, and operational bottlenecks derived from the SOT.
- Insights Leadership: Establish and facilitate the CoE's strategic insights cadence and global forums, translating complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives that drive and inform global strategic planning and roadmap prioritization.
What You'll Need:
- Experience: +5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Commercial Operations, or Strategy & Planning, preferably focused on complex funnels, supply chain, or customer/merchant lifecycle management.
- Technical Expertise (Must-Have): Deep expertise in SQL for complex data manipulation is essential. Proven experience designing, building, and managing reporting dashboards (e.g., Tableau) and working with large-scale data warehouses.
- Strategic Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex analytical findings and influence strategic stakeholders across global and regional teams.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and experience managing analytical timelines and deliverables across teams (e.g., using Slack, Asana, JIRA).
- Mindset: Strategic thinking with a strong bias for action and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality, focused on driving measurable business outcomes.
- Language: Fluency in English (required).
Bonus Points If:
- Technical Expertise (Plus): Knowledge of Spark, Python, R, or similar languages for statistical analysis and automation; direct experience with ETL processes and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce data structure) is a strong plus.
- Language: Fluency in Spanish (desired).
