About the Role
As the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, Professional Services, you will lead the sourcing strategy across Uber’s global professional services portfolio. You will drive cost-effective, scalable strategic sourcing solutions that support professional services, human capital, project work & implementations, outsourcing, and BPO engagements. In this role, you’ll partner closely with internal business partners across various global teams to manage key supplier relationships, negotiate complex contracts, and deliver best-in-class professional services solutions.

What You’ll Do
- Help lead Uber’s Professional Services Sourcing Strategy: Oversee portfolio planning, lead complex negotiations, and manage supplier partner performance worldwide.
- Optimize Professional Services: Develop sourcing strategies to ensure Uber’s investments align with business growth, and cost efficiency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders and Business Units, to ensure alignment with Uber’s broader business goals. Build and maintain solid business partner relationships with high degrees of openness and transparency.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure Uber’s interests are protected at all times, and we mitigate / minimize any and all risks.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, ideally in Professional Services, Human Capital, Outsourcing, or related categories.
- Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in global strategic sourcing or indirect procurement.
- Strong understanding of professional services and delivery models, pricing strategies, supplier performance management, and cost modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to lead RFI/RFP processes, contract negotiations, and supplier business reviews.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to influence without directing at all levels.
- Track record of driving cost savings while improving service quality and operational reliability.
- MBA, JD, or advanced degree in Finance, or Business is a bonus!
- Demonstrated ability to build and implement strategic sourcing category plans that foster cross-functional alignment, elevate category influence, and deliver measurable impact.
- Strong interpersonal skills and highly collaborative with both business leaders and sourcing groups, with a proven ability to build relationships, gain credibility and trust, and partner across functions to build consensus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$182,000 per year - USD$202,000 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
