About the Role
As Head of Compliance Operations for EMEA Delivery, you will define the vision and roadmap for operational compliance in one of the most strategic and complex regions globally. You will build and own a systematic framework to identify, manage and mitigate compliance risks for earners and marketplace. You will work cross functionally with local country leaders and global teams, to translate regulatory obligations into clear operational controls (policies, processes and products) to deploy at scale.
What you will do
- Compliance Strategy & Vision: Define the strategic vision and roadmap for operational compliance in EMEA Delivery, focusing on building and maintaining a Compliance Management Framework for Earners and Marketplace to proactively identify, manage, and mitigate compliance risks across all local areas and countries.
- Operational Compliance & Risk Management: Own and build the EMEA operational compliance roadmap for earners and marketplace, translating regulatory obligations into clear operational controls (policies, processes, products) to deploy at scale. Establish a single source of truth for key operational compliance obligations, metrics and associated risks and drive mitigation of operational gaps.
- Cross-Functional & External Alignment: Serve as the central point of contact for operational compliance, driving alignment across local, regional, and global functions. Build connections with local and regional regulatory bodies, have a read on risk levels and optimize operational compliance controls to balance risk and business metrics.
What you will need
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Operations Risk, Compliance, Corporate Governance or Operations roles, with substantial experience in a large, international organization.
- Deep understanding of operational compliance and risk management principles, with demonstrated experience in designing and implementing compliance programs or frameworks.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse groups, including local country leaders and global teams (e.g., Legal, Policy, Safety, Product)
- Experience in or working with the public sector in one or more EMEA markets
- Native/ fluent language and cultural understanding of one or more EMEA markets
