Vendor Management Specialist (Sales & Growth)
Uber
About the Role
The Global Support Organization at Uber (GSO) is a key business function partnering with the Sales Operations team to drive revenue growth and market expansion across EMEA in the Delivery vertical. Our goal is to enhance BPO-driven sales performance by optimizing sales processes, ensuring strong vendor execution, and driving impactful sales conversations.
As a Vendor Management Sales & Growth Specialist, you will play a key role in daily sales operations by partnering with BPO teams to enhance agent performance, resolve operational issues, and ensure smooth execution of sales processes. You’ll translate strategic goals into actionable steps, coach vendor agents, and drive improvements in sales pitches and onboarding effectiveness, especially in the software and tech sectors. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to performance trends, and fluency in French, Spanish, or German to directly support frontline sales interactions and optimize customer engagement.
What You’ll Do:
Sales Performance Management & Agent-Level Optimization
- Analyze vendor agent performance metrics (conversion, lead quality, productivity) daily, conduct quartile analysis, and implement improvement plans for underperformers.
- Evaluate the full sales journey at the agent level, provide coaching to BPO leadership, and continuously refine sales pitches in line with market trends and Uber’s value proposition.
Operational Execution & Process Enhancement
- Serve as the primary operational contact for BPOs, ensuring smooth sales process execution and prompt resolution of technical and access-related issues.
- Identify and address inefficiencies on the ground, while collaborating with internal and cross-functional teams to align on priorities and implement structured improvements.
Data-Driven Performance Insights
- Conduct daily/weekly data analysis in every site to spot performance trends, outliers, and areas for improvement.
- Identify key drivers behind conversion fluctuations and sales funnel bottlenecks, developing targeted action plans with the BPOs
- Partner with Sales Ops and Vendor Managers to refine sales scripts, engagement tactics, and process adjustments based on operational insights.
Agent Enablement & Coaching in the BPOs
- Enable and support BPO teams in coaching sales agents by providing real-time feedback, refining sales approaches through live insights, and ensuring agents are equipped with the right knowledge and tools to drive effectiveness.
Market Adaptation & Localized Sales Support
- Ensure sales execution on the ground aligns with local market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and customer preferences, especially considering that most of the BPOs will be operating in offshore locations
- Continuous improvement on adapting and refining sales messaging based on language, cultural nuances, and Merchant feedback, especially for French, Spanish or German speaking markets.
- Work with vendor teams to test and iterate sales strategies tailored to different regions and business types.
