About the Role

The Netherlands Uber Eats SMB Sales team is focused on growing our restaurant footprint across the suburban areas of the Netherlands—unlocking new cities and underserved markets. As an Account Executive, you'll connect high-potential local restaurants with the Uber Eats platform, showing them how delivery can drive real growth. You’ll have a direct impact on shaping our marketplace and helping small businesses thrive.

The AE manages the entire sales process, from prospecting and initial contact to closing the deal and achieving the first order (first trip) with Uber. This role involves developing and maintaining a strong relationship with the account, thoroughly understanding their business needs, and guiding them through the commercial negotiation process. The AE is the main point of contact for the account and plays a key role in ensuring their expectations are met throughout the sales journey.

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that the proposals and solutions presented align with the client’s requirements and deliver the best possible outcome. Your goal is to drive revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnership.

Basic Qualifications

  • Sales experience (inside or field) with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, written and spoken
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume sales pipeline

Preferred Qualifications

  • You’re naturally curious and love having value-driven conversations helping business owners achieve their goals
  • Experience in inside sales, telesales, or high-volume outreach roles
  • Confident communicator who can tailor their pitch based on the merchant’s business model and goals (solution-based selling)
  • Comfortable using tools like Salesforce and Google Workspace

What You Will Do

  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and onboarding—for restaurants in suburban markets across NL
  • Work cross-functionally with an onboarding specialist, marketing, account management and restaurant operations teams to ensure new merchants hit the ground running
  • Stay organized and efficient using CRM tools to track pipeline, follow-ups, and account status
  • Act as a strategic growth partner to merchants during their first 4 weeks on the platform to ensure a strong launch and early performance.
