Job Description

What Does Success Look Like

We are looking for an India-based Product Designer II with 2–4 years of relevant product design experience in software, SaaS, enterprise platforms, startups, agencies, freelance product work, internships, campus placements, academic projects, bootcamps, or equivalent practical experience. In this role, you will contribute to enterprise software experiences using Sprinklr’s design system, AI-first workflows, and emerging agentic design patterns, where software can understand user intent, recommend next steps, and help users move from insight to action more efficiently. You will partner with Product Management, Engineering, QA, senior designers, design systems, and global stakeholders to create user flows, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and interaction models that are intuitive, trustworthy, accessible, and easy to use.

The ideal candidate is building strong product design judgment, communicates clearly, and is comfortable working across Product, Design, Engineering, and QA in a distributed environment. They should have practical exposure to modern AI-powered experiences through shipped work, internships, academic projects, personal exploration, startup or agency work, or similar hands-on experience. They should be able to support research activities such as user interviews, usability testing, workflow reviews, competitive reviews, or synthesis of customer insights, and translate those insights into clear, usable design solutions. They should understand core principles of usability, interaction design, accessibility, human-in-the-loop experiences, and agentic systems, while looking to senior design partners for guidance on complex product strategy, system-level decisions, and broader experience direction.

What You’ll Do

  • Use Sprinklr’s design system, product patterns, and AI-first tools to create clear explorations for enterprise workflows. Partner with senior and principal designers to understand user needs, identify opportunities for intelligent assistance, and translate direction into well-structured user journeys.
  • Bring designs to life through clickable prototypes, interaction flows, and lightweight motion studies that show how users move through AI-powered and agentic experiences. Apply reusable design system components to support consistency, clarity, accessibility, and polish across assigned product areas.
  • Build strong working relationships with Product Managers and Engineers. Understand requirements, gather feedback, clarify user needs, and respond to implementation questions or design issues with support from senior design partners when needed.
  • Participate in user research and user experience activities, including client interviews, usability testing, workflow reviews, and observation of users on the platform. Help translate research insights into design decisions, including opportunities for AI assistance, automation, user control, and human oversight.
  • Collaborate with senior and principal designers early in the design process, gather input, and align on a clear design direction. Be open to feedback and critique, and communicate approved design decisions clearly to Product Management, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
  • Submit designs for review, incorporate feedback quickly, and continue refining the work until it is clear, usable, technically feasible, and aligned with the intended user outcome.

What Makes You Qualified

  • 2–4 years of relevant product design experience, or equivalent practical experience, contributing to software, SaaS, enterprise platforms, startups, agencies, freelance product work, internships, campus placements, academic projects, bootcamps, or similar hands-on design work.
  • Practical exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) tools or AI-powered user experiences, with a working understanding of agentic workflows, intelligent recommendations, automation, explainability, user control, trust, and human-in-the-loop patterns appropriate for a mid-level designer.
  • Experience participating in or supporting user research, such as interviews, usability testing, competitive reviews, workflow analysis, or synthesis of qualitative insights into design recommendations.
  • Strong fundamentals in product design, including user journeys, interaction design, information hierarchy, usability, accessibility, visual design craft, and storytelling from a user perspective.
  • Nice to have: exposure to service design thinking, including journey mapping, service blueprints, frontstage and backstage workflows, and cross-functional moments that shape the full customer and employee experience.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, adapt to changing priorities, move from concept to high fidelity quickly, and make steady progress when problems are ambiguous or complex.
  • Creative, curious, and open to critique, with the ability to explore multiple directions, explain design tradeoffs, and refine work based on feedback.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through interaction challenges, ask thoughtful questions, identify risks or edge cases, and make practical recommendations with guidance when needed.
  • Clear written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to present design rationale, progress, and open questions to designers, Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and stakeholders.
  • Comfort collaborating across distributed teams, including India-based peers and global stakeholders, through clear documentation, async communication, design reviews, and practical handoff artifacts.
  • Empathy for user needs, especially in complex enterprise environments where clarity, trust, efficiency, accessibility, and reducing cognitive load are essential to creating painless user experiences.
  • A portfolio with 2–4 case studies that demonstrate software product design, user interface (UI) patterns, interaction design, user flows, wireframes, visual design craft, iteration, design-system usage, and clear problem-solving from user need to final solution.
  • Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with FigJam, Figma Dev Mode, design systems, modern prototyping tools, and collaboration workflows used for critique, stakeholder alignment, and engineering implementation.
  • Familiarity with product delivery and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence, including handoff notes, design QA, acceptance criteria support, and collaboration with Product and Engineering.
  • Experience using AI-assisted design, prototyping, research, synthesis, workflow-mapping, or content-generation tools to explore ideas, evaluate alternatives, and improve the speed and quality of design work.
  • Working knowledge of design systems and how to apply shared components, patterns, accessibility guidance, and product conventions consistently.
  • Background in enterprise software, B2B SaaS, customer experience, service, marketing, insights, analytics, workflow automation, or adjacent product areas is helpful but not required.
  • Join us on this design journey where creativity, user empathy, research, service design thinking, practical AI-first innovation, and strong product craft come together to improve productivity and simplify enterprise experiences across the Sprinklr platform.
